Bengaluru : To get covered the classroom study loss for last years due to COVID-19, the education department has cut the school annual vacation for 15 days. The 2022-2023 educational year commence from May 16, 2022 instead usual June 1.
The state education department which released a circular of the ‘Calander Events’ of next education year will end the current education year on April 9. There will be annual vacation from April 10 to May 15, 2022.
The department said classroom study was less due to covid reason and there were complaints over the ‘On-line’ classes. Students were not according to mark due to lack of classroom studies. To get back to line government proposed to start “Study Refreshing Programme,” in the fresh academic. The annual examination for Std 1 to 9 will commence from March 24.
The education department conducted classroom studies from 50pc to 60pc in current educational year.
