Belagavi : Dedicated completely to uplift and provide comfortable life to destitute, downtrodden and to the untold needs of middle class category families, The Jeevan Sangharsh Foundation has speeded-up its social service by constructing a new house to a family whose house was in dangerous state to live due to rains.
The house belonged to Chandrakant Hiremath in Siddharth Boarding campus was almost in the state to collapse due to heavy rains last year. As their stay in house was harmful as it could be collapsed any moment, Hiremath family took shelter in other place.
Though no one told about the pathetic situation of Hiremath’s family, Dr Ganpat Patil who is a medical practitioner from New Zealand demolished their house and flagged-off to construct his family a new house.
Dr Patil followed local rituals and commence the construction work by breaking the land (Bhoomi Pooja) on Saturday.
Dr Patil who is in his native for annual vacation said that he would ensure quality meals for the students of Siddhartha would be provided by the foundation.
