Bengaluru : There will be unofficial holiday for students of the Government Aided Educational Institutions in the state on March 4 (Friday) following the protest of the teaching and non-teaching staff over their demand.
The Association of Karnataka State Aided School and Colleges has decided to held a protest rally from Freedom Park to Vidhan Soudha at Bengaluru for which the institutions would be closed.
Association State President DC Gopinath, at a news conference at Bengaluru on Tuesday said the government must give retirement pension also to the staff appointed after 2006, implemented “Aarogya Siri,” insurance scheme facility, allow the to get appointed staff to the vacate posts and also expand facilities to their institutions which are being given to government run school and colleges.
