Belagavi : Pratap Laxman Salagude from Old Belagavi was killed on the spot when he was hit by a truck from rare side near Ballari Nala on BS Yeddyurappa road in the wee hours on Sunday. A roadside tree which was also hit by the truck uprooted.
49-year-old Pratap used to walk morning from Old Belagavi to Alarwad cross. The truck was in high speed, the Belagavi South Traffic police who are investigating the case said.
