Nippani : Acting on a specific information, the Nippani Town police raided on a hotel situated outskirts of the town and rounded-up eight people including five women of which one is a foreigner included in flesh trade.
The team headed by CPI Sangamesh Shivayogi and Sub Inspector Krishnaveni Gurlahosur raided in the late hours on Saturday and arrested those involved in prostitution.
Sanjay Bairappa Mali, from Sankeshwar, Arun Jaipal Shaikanavar from Hukkeri and Khandoba Chavan from Pimpal were the prime accused who were running the flesh trade. The accused and the women engaged in the sex business were remanded to judicial custody.
