Hubballi : Sensing that things would take serious turn, the Women’s College in JC Nagar declared holiday after students started protest for not allowing them inside the campus with Hijabs and Burkhas, on Wednesday.
The Muslim students had came with their religious outfits. They were stopped at the gate and told to enter inside without Burkha and Hijabs. Students who have rights to go inside the campus objected as the court ordered not to wear those inside the classroom and not in campus, started protest.
Thought that things would take serious turn, the college immediately declared holiday and sent all the students out from the campus.
