Belagavi : An advocate from Kabbur village practicing at Chikkodi court was arrested for his attempt to rape a woman.
The advocate whose house is located near Vittal temple in Kabbur of Chikkodi taluk took home a woman who was searching medicine for her alcoholic husband who could leave drinking of alcohol and tried to rape her.
Neighbours of the house, after hearing the scream of the woman rushed to the house and rescued her and handed over the advocate to Kabbur police who later handed him over to Chikkodi police. The advocate has been identified as Sanjeev Vaddargaavi.
