Belagavi : To condemn the murder of Shivamogga Bajarangdal activist Harsha, the Hindu outfits – Vishwa Hindu Parishat, Sriram Sene and Bajarangdal – held a protest in Belagavi and urged the government to give the capital punishment to the murderers.
The protest rally to the deputy commissioner’s office commenced from Rani Channamma circle for which the vehicles leading to the place were diverted to other linking roads. Heavy police bandobast was made to avoid happening of untoward incidents.
The Hindu outfits in a memorandum submitted to the district administration have urged the government not to spare a single person behind the murder of Harsha snd frame such legal acts which lead to the uttermost punishment. They said hang-till-death punishment must be given to the murderers so that no such acts against Hindus repeat.
