Shivamogga : Trusting their subordinates blindly has landed three official into trouble as they gave a person caste certificate without varifying the facts.
One Sheshappa from Shivamogga, in his application, had provided false details about his caste and got the certificate which he wanted. Shivamogga Tahasildar, Revenue Inspector and Village Accountant without getting cross verification had signed on the application which the concerned staff issued the certificate.
The Human Rights’ Enforcement Directorate has filed a complaint with Shivamogga police against Shivamogga Tahasildar, Revenue Inspector, Village Accountant and also against applicant Sheshappa.
The trio officials had signed of the application with their official seals. A case has also been filed against Sheshappa for obtaining the certificate by providing false details.
