Dharward : Dharward Rural Police Station Inspector suspended from the services for getting filed a FIR against Basavaraj Horatti the Chairman of Karnataka Legislative Council. As the matter was discussed in the ongoing legislature session, government suspended the inspector. DGP Praveen Soodh has issued a suspension letter.
Based on the complaint by Karnataka Valmikhi Mahasabha Dharwad District President Mohan Gudisalamani who levelled assault charges against Horatti and had filed a FIR against him with Dharward Rural Police.
Gudisalamani alleged that Horatti who is a part of the Sarvodaya Shikshan Sansthe which running a few educational institutions was misutilising the institutions by using his power. Therefore Horatti was angry on him.
He said, recently he was assaulted by Horatti and his car was damaged when he had been to visit a Mahasabha’s school at Mugada village in Dharward taluk.
