Fairfield Marriott, located at Kakati said her diamond bangles work Rs 10 lakh are missing and suspected the hotel management might have stolen when she was out from the room on Wednesday.
Shipra, in her complaint to Kakati police said she checked-in the hotel at around 10 am on Tuesday and was given room No.219. After keeping baggage she left for her assignment and returned at around 10.30pm.
She said she observed her room was used and when checked she found her diamond bangles worth Rs 9 to 10 lakhs kept in the travel bags were missing. She also said her towel was used and noticed that the bed was used.
She said the hotel management was first sidelined her complaint and agreed that it was opened to cleanliness purpose and said the housekeeping staff had allowed a couple to stay in the same room whom stayed for 3 hours from 3pm.
