Tumakuru : A parents lost their two daughters in the private passenger bus accident occurred at Pavagad in Tumakuru district on Saturday.
Amulya and her elder sister Harshita were on their way to college by travelling in the ill-fated bus which turned turtle after hitting to a road divider. Amulya studying in PUC died on the spot which Harshita studying in degree classes breathed her last at a private hospital at Bengaluru last night.
Bus driver Raghu who was at large after the mishap has been arrested and a FIR has been filed against him.
Tumakuru district Police Chief Rahul Kumar told news persons that 31 passengers injured in the mishap.
