Hubballi : A person who used to wash police jeep madeaway the vehicle at Dharwad district on Wednesday.
Nagappa Hadapad used to wash police vehicles of Annigeri police station. As the driver of the jeep left the key at the vehicle, Nagappa took the vehicle and went Byadagi where he was arrested and the vehicle was recovered.
During interrogation, Nagappa said he took the vehicle just to drive as driving the police jeep which he wash everyday was his dream and added that he had no intention of stealing it.
