Belagavi : An Undertrail prisoner Gururaj Doddamani who complained about chest pain died at the jail on Friday night. He was allegedly beaten by the jailers two weeks ago since than he was complaining about chest pain.
One of the accused of Kerala based gangster Tasleem, Gururaj was in jail since 2019. He had said to be asked Rs 500 hand loan from one of his relatives visited jail recently and also from a jail staff.
His relatives who were informed about his death suspected about the natural death and said of filing a complaint with police to trace the facts for his death.
