Mumbai : Four students from Karnataka pursuing Medical education at war-prone Ukraine returned to the state on Tuesday.
The Nodal Officials team deployed to assist the people, especially the students return, at Mumbai airport helped the students to go their homes in the state. Vishwanath Chauhan from Chikkaballapur and Randita Ranganayak, Sneha Muttaiah and Likhita Muniratnam from Bengaluru returned to the motherland. Parents, family members, relatives, friends welcomed the students warmly.
After, Russia declared war against its neighboring tinny nation, Ukraine, people have taken Shelter at the bunkers to get protected themselves from the bomb attack of Russia. The students returned today were also hid in such bunkers.
To help Kannadigas to reach safely their homes here, the Karnataka government has pressed a team of nodal officials constiting two officials from every district.
