Bengaluru : As two from Tamil Nadu put life threat to three justices including Chief Justice of Karnataka who delivered the Hijab verdict will be given Y-category security after threats and derogatory remarks were passed against them in Tamil Nadu, said Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday.
“I have asked the police to book the culprits under harshest of sections in law. I have instructed for their security to be increased,” he said.
Two people have been arrested in connection with issuing death threats to the Special Bench judges of the Karnataka High Court who dismissed the petitions seeking permission to wear hijab inside the classrooms.
