Bengaluru : Since the campuses of educational institutions turning tense over Hijab and Saffon Shawls, the government has announced three day holiday ie Feb 9, 10 and 11 to Std 9 and 10 and PU courses to all the government aided and unaided institutions.
The institutions were tensed after students started arriving with wearing saffon shawls against their Muslim girl counterparts coming wearing the Hijab (Head Scarfs) and a few students came wearing blue colour shawls in support of Hijab wore girls. To avoid untoward incidents, the government declared holiday.
