Belagavi : The Vijaya Institute of Paramedical Sciences, which hit headlines of the news media throughout the state on Thursday over Hijab (head scarfs) issue has found lied with Muslim students. To avoid landing in controversy over girls of the religion coming with Hijabs, the institute had told the Muslim students that there was holiday till Monday.
However, the college was open. Knowing that they were lied, Muslim students been to college and the girl students arrived with Hajabs on Friday and protested in front of the college.
As not allowed to attend the classes with Hijabs, the girls boycotted the classes and left the campus. Police bandobast has made at the entrance of the institute.
Angered girls took the management to task for telling them lie on holiday and tried to enter the classrooms with Hijabs.
